RACISM & FRIENDSHIP: "A HUMAN ODYSSEY"

     I remember the first time I heard the word "nigger" come out of a White person mouth, it was a friend of mine who when to the same Catholic school as me, someone I thought that I liked. We were both about 11 or 12 years old, coming from school and walking pass the public school that didn't get out until about 30 minutes after we did, and he said, "we should get home before the niggers get out". And then he looked at me, and said, "not you Antoine", like that was going to make me fill not like a nigger, which sadly to say it did. Because needless to say I had no defense against this type of  hypocrisy at the age of  12 as a result of  my indoctrination (education), from home or from the world who was suppose to be educating me to deal with the world. On the other hand, this white friend of mine, was being prepared to be master of  his domain by training him to look down on people he has been instructed to believe are lower then him. Even my mother treat him better, this white kid, then my other friends because of her cultivation in white superiority training. She would offer him something to eat or drink, which he always turn down, and I know now it was because of his training. What 12 year old kid do you know who is not always putting something in their mouth?
     Now don't get me wrong being Color or Black at the time, I've hear that word all my life come from Black people but never from a White person. I was offended by the way he said it, like we Blacks were one, unlike the way I was accustom to hearing it directed at one person, plus the pronunciation of it was foreign to me, like he was saying something he hear someone else say,but didn't understand it(his parents). It would be years later before I understood what he meant by that statement, "not you Antoine", because what I came to understand it meaning is that collectively we are what they think we are, niggers or kaffirs, people to them who have a  negative definition. Another time, while serving in the U.S. Navy I had a friend who I hang-out with who was of the European persuasion who worked on the same navy base as I but in a different area. We were exchanging our work day, and he said to me pertaining to a conversation him and is co-workers were talking about, which was if he and I were such good friends, could he call me a "nigger" and get a way with it. I said to him, which later I thought was quite profound of me in that space and time, and that was, "good friends don't call each other out of their name". Something my parents taught me as a young child, to respect life and all its properties, something I found out that wasn't the norm with everyone else.
     There are many stories just like these experiences by many people of color, everyone of us share them because of our and their indoctrination and the bigotry of our educational infrastructure that teaches us that everything worth being human was created by Europeans. Hell, we are being programmed by a group who believe that the human journey only started six thousand years ago, and before that only different forms of primates that was incapable of intelligent thought. These are the same people who are distributing the rumor that Egypt was a part of Europe in order to claim it as a white race culture. Think about it, if a place like Egypt who had a lest 10,000 years of  recorded history at the time of Greece's Neolithic period, about 7000 BCE, where did the European get Man's birth at 6000 years ago. They get it from the Bible, the Jewish Bible at that, which according to it says it is the year 5775,  which in the Roman year is 2014.
     Understand that we are listening to people who don't really know their own history (story) and they are telling us about the story of MAN, about us and we believe this pseudo-tale which is often motivated with the help of ones desires rather then objective perceptions. Objective perception in terms of humanity must always be about reality, it a matter of seeing things as they are, rather then seeing them from a certain interpretation. Racism is a subjective antithesis, which means it conforms to ones position, ones feelings, ones beliefs and ones attitudes.
     Friendship, European style is the same, that is you have to conform to their position, their feelings, beliefs and their attitudes, Africans on the other hand have more of a emotional attachment with their friends. Characteristics such as sympathy, empathy, honesty, a social conscience, mutual understanding, compassion, trust, the ability to be self with a friend without judgement. European rapport tend to come from a shared background, shared occupations, shared interest, and having similar demographics. If and when (and the probability of this happening is very high) Africans first appeared on the shores of  Europe back in the day, they were probably killed because of their different and feared because of European attachment style (if you are different then me, you are against me).  Now on the contrary, when the European first landed on the shores of Africa, well history shows us what happen.
     Unlike Europeans, Africans are not quick to judge difference, we accept all of Nature's (God's) choices for living, even the one's we don't understand and there are many. It is the Motherland's way, not the European's and don't forget most of us are indoctrinated (educated) in the European way, that is we may look like Africans but we think like Europeans, the bi-product of RACISM. Malcolm X said,  "that the problem with integration is that it teaches one is better then the other", that white life is better then black life, which is wrong.  Integration should demonstrate the good and the bad, the right and the wrong in both worlds so that we can learn to exercise our being for the good of all. That is why Friendship will always be an odyssey in a racist community.

RACE: IT STARTS WITH THE GEOGRAPHY "STUPID"

     First off, let me say I know you are not stupid because if you are reading this, you are in the real world of truth to the best of  my ability, but I do question some of our so-called experts (political scientist) who believe that race is a complex topic just because it is so controversial, like our present President. The failure of proper RACE relations in our Western culture is because there is a lot of pain (emotions), a lot of joking (ignorance) and very little data on the real story. For one thing, we have entrusted the understanding of  RACE  in the bias hands of racist and their concept of race with their no sense of fair play. For example, in the Europeans so-called "Age of Enlightenment", the 17th and 18th century they accepted the theory that race was biological and to this day the uninformed (which is a majority) still believe that. Hell in World War 2, the Red Cross ban Negro blood, even when Negro blood saved hundreds of maimed American soldiers and sailors when Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. JIM CROW trumped scientific fact.  And for some of us who believe all that is written, race truly lacks a biological base, even though it gives the appears to be a biological abstraction. The scientific reality is that we as homo sapiens are not divided into sub-groups biologically, so biologically what we call the races of  MAN do not exist, it is strictly a social conception. What we do have is genetic diversity, which is the variation of heritable characteristics present in different people throughout the world, but of the same species, homo sapiens. Genetic diversity allows Man to adapt to new environments and to fight of parasites, and it has help our learned scientists (the few there are) to form theories on human origins. This unbias  formularization of man have a lot more of the truth than say,  the "Book of Genesis",chapter 11, the theorizes beginning of the human species on Earth.
     What I have study of the Bible so far there is no mention of different races in the Bible, not even the concept of race, no Biblical or theological meaning to the term which means to me that the concept of race was and is a invention of man. The word of the Bible is that all men who ever lived in the world are descendants of Adam (?) and are the same race, the HUMAN RACE. "God hath made one blood all nations of men for the dwell on all face of the earth". Now explanation of the Bible is a horse of a different color like dehumanizing to justify inhuman behavior, as to believe that I am not all that I think that I am, so you must be less then me.
     Returning to the age of enlightenment, I found scientists classify homo sapiens based on a geographic  arrangement of human community based on skin color, geographic location, shape and food habits. These same scientists of the era also include behavioral and psychological traits in their limited observations which they related to race, and therefore instinctive thus unchangeable. There was  other things that these analysts relied on and one of them was "The great chain of being", a medieval idea that was a pecking order of life, from the essential elements to the most perfect, and this is where they began to infringe upon the idea of race. Taxonomy, the science of classification was the thing in that era , so scientists assume that people could be divided into specific subgroups. A person's "RACE"  would say that they had certain character qualities and physical tendency that differentiated them from other people, a pecking order of inferiority to superiority.
     Carolus von Linnaeus, an 1800 century Swedish botanist, known as the father of Taxonomy, and Johann Friedrich Blumenbach, an anthropologist were the first to distinguished a small number of geographically defined races. But in today's reality we are confronted with two different concepts of race and not one favor the other, geographical races and local (micro-geographical) races. Population that are contained within geographical areas like continents and islands have obvious similarities because oceans, deserts and mountain chains are an effective barrier to limit migration and gene-flow. Alfred R. Wallace, a British naturalist spoke no precise accord between geographical areas and geographical races in such an adaptable and footloose species as the human race. Examples of that is the Bushmen-Hottentot, the (non-Negrito) Australian aborigines, and the Eskimo.
     Now the local or micro-geographical races are people who changes came mostly in evolutionary times by their complete isolation that preserve long-standing genetic differences. Scientists in Europe's enlighten era attempted to assign every population to a geographical race due to their desire for taxonomic neatness, also to incorrectly assume that taxonomic need serve as a biological evolution, which it do not.  As a result of this ignorance the Australian aborigines were put in an Negro category solely on the bases of the color of their skin, as was the San (Bushman) of Southern Africa. The Indians of India are not Mongoloid, or Negroid despite a high skin melanin concentration nor are they Caucasian. We are truly a product of our environment, everything that is outside of our temple (body), and our heritage, that which is inside our temple.

JUDGEMENT BY SKIN COLOR (A EUROPEAN COMMODITY)

     I've analyze the culture of discrimination solely based on the color of a persons skin, which was and 600 years later still is a European product. Like most things we learn coming out of Africa, racial bias we learn from the Europeans (white people), it was nothing we brought out of Africa and we did bring many things out. One of the world's foremost authorities on Africans in classical antiquity, Frank Snowden Jr. exposes racism as a post-classical (after the Greeks & Roman era) condition in his book "BLACKS IN ANTIQUITY: ETHIOPIANS IN THE GRECO-ROMAN EXPERIENCE".   The concept of racial inferiority come from the DARK AGES (medieval period), the period in European history that is refer to as a time of ignorance and superstition.  Most scholars saw this time as the come of age of religious authorities over personal experience and rational activity, declining from the high culture and civilization of the CLASSICAL world where reason was superior to faith. In this surroundings the medieval Christian church suppressed the growth of natural philosophy and propagated myths that passed as historical truth. The scholar Thomas Aquinas who sought to integrate reason and faith by explaining that the Christian faith in light of the teaching of Aristotle attempted to demonstrate that Christianity is a reasonable, logical and truthful faith.
     OK we know it is a fact, Man first enslaved his fellow man and color of his or her skin has nothing to do with it, but other characteristics did come in to play like religion, language, customs, and  the less barbaric.  Nevertheless as the Catholic church expanded, conquering, colonizing, and introducing the so-called heathens to Christianity, their attitudes of superiority to the population on the rim of the European continent anticipated the feelings of dominance and entitlement. These characteristics would define the skin color thing as they later expand into Asia, Africa, and the Americas. What I believe is that for all the good that religion did do for mankind, like  maintaining peace between small groups of related people to unrelated individuals by providing a bond that otherwise would have brought a level of hostility toward each other.  Religion did  help guild us to interpret our reality and define our spiritual being but it also minimized and sometimes cancel out the role of the history of man by uniquely appropriating  only itself and its own history. By that I mean, in the middle ages the Church saw non-Christian as just criminals trapped in the dark night of paganism. Those who did not convert were killed because their life was not worth much, their way of thinking was: if you weren't christian, you couldn't be considered human.
     That is were the superiority complex begin to play, because there is no clear evidence of racism had been found in other cultures or in Europe before the Medieval era. The establishment of Jews as Satan and associating them with witchcraft in the of the 14th and 15th century was perhaps the first sign of racist view of the world. Formal approval for this attitude came in the 16th century Spain when Jews who had converted to Christianity and their heirs became the victims of a pattern of discrimination and exclusion. This is where my Pan-African thoughts begin to propagate, Jews and their quest for a Jewish homeland, that started with a organized movement called Zionism.
     The Zionist movement begin about 1870, more then 60 years before the HOLOCAUST, aimed at creating a Jewish National Home and cultural center in what was then Palestine by promoting Jewish migration. Zionist at that time was about Judaism and Jewish history, but after the Holocaust it focused on the creation of a Jewish state with a Jewish majority, accomplishing its goal in 1948 with the State of Israel. Now what is to be understood here is the success of Zionism is that today 40% of the world's Jewish population live in Israel, and that nowhere in human history has a people been restore after such a long period of existence as a diaspora. Zionism for Jews is what put a name to their encounter with intolerance in Europe and in the harvest, Israel a place where all Jewish people from around the world is a citizen.
     Now don't get me wrong, because personal I do not ignore the way Palestine was stolen from the native people of the land by the Ashkenazi (European Jews), along with the Sephardi (North African Jews) and the United Nations General Assembly (who are the great European powers of the day). They are the ones who adopted and implemented the "PARTITION PLAN FOR MANDATORY PALESTINE" in 1947 which produces the State of Israel. What I do respect of this criminal act is the way they got away from their oppressors by shaping their religious history to justify their actions, plus getting their persecutor to pay for reparations. (Any Ashkenazi who can show that a relative was harm or killed in the Holocaust gets reparations from Germany, "a welfare check")

SLAVERY (what we are NOT taught!)

     There is a whole society that live within the Western culture who were and still are being instilled with the belief that the only victim of slavery were Black people, Africans, alleged descendants of HAM, son of Noah. But I say, in truth slavery has always been a part of civilization starting with the development of agriculture during the Neolithic Revolution about 11,000 years ago, and before that there were only basically hunter-gather populations. (slavery was rare among hunter-gathers populations because there is no social layers between them). This revolution or era was the beginning of farming and ended when metal tools became widespread. It was the progression of behavioral  and cultural characteristics, in man including the use of wild and domestic crops and of domesticated animals. Different parts of the world such as Africa and Asia had their regional distinctive Neolithic culture independent of those in Europe and the Americas.
     Slavery also existed in China, The Akkadian Empire, Assyria, India, Greece, Rome, the Hebrew Kingdoms in Palestine and the Pre-Columbian civilizations of the Americas. Now even through slavery existed for thousands of years, the social, economics, and legal position of slavery  was different in different systems of slavery, in different times and places. Chattel or traditional slavery which is slavery when you treat a slave as personal property was the common form, but you also had slavery because of debt, the punishment slavery for crimes, enslavement of prisoners of war and the slavery of children because of abandonment. Matter-of-fact, statistically  at the beginning of the 19th century an estimate says 3/4 of all people alive were trapped in in some kind of bondage against their will
      The Bible even mention slavery as a established institution, which is to say there is evidence of slavery predates written records. One of the surviving examples of slavery in an society is the last few speeches of Moses, called mitzvot or commandments and there is one law concerning slavery; DEUTERONOMY  15;12-18. Now in the the Old Testament, the Deuteronomic Code on slavery states:
     If your brother, a Hebrew man or Hebrew woman, is sold to you, he shall serve you six years, and in the seventh year you let him go free from you
     And when you let him go free from you, you shall not let him go empty-handed.
     You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, out of your threshing floor, and out of your winepress. As the Lord your God has blessed you, you shall give to him. You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your  God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today. But if he says to you, 'I will not go out from you ,' because he loves you and your household, since he is well-off with you, then you shall take an awl (corkscrew), and put it through his ear into the door, and he shall be your slave forever. And to your female slave you shall do the same. It shall not seem hard to you when you  let him go free from you, for at half the cost of a hired worker he has served you six years. So the Lord your God will bless you in all that you do.
      Now the other well preserved document on a stele (stone) and various clay tablets is the CODE OF HAMMURABI, a Babylonian law code of Mesopotamia dated 1772 B.C.E.. Hammurabi was the 6th king of Babylonian who enacted the code,which a partial copies exist today on a human-sized stone.  The code consists of 282 laws, with one escalated punishment, adjusting "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth " as graded depending on social status, of slave verse free man.
    What I find most interesting is the Scandinavians, or as they like to propagate, the Vikings who are romanticize as noble savages by our Western culture, but as a matter of fact were violent lawless heathens. In want they call the Viking era (790 B.C.E-1066 A.D.) their society was divided into three socio-economic classes of Thralls, Karls and Jarls. God Rig, their father of  mankind created the three classes. The slaves were called Thralls and vital to the Viking society because they did the everyday chores and large scale construction, and also they were the servants and workers in the farms and any other hard work. Thralls were detested and looked down upon. New Thralls were furnished by either sons and daughters of Thralls or were captured on raids into Europe, enslaved and  made Thralls. They were mostly Franks, Anglo-Saxons and Celts, but many Irish slaves traveled  in expeditions for colonization of Iceland. Slavery supported the Viking commerce during the 6th through 11th centuries, and was finally abolished in the mid-14 century in Scandinavia.
      Now understand, with all due respect, slavery when on for thousands of years in many different systems in different times and places,matter of fact the name slave is derive from "sklabos" means slav. That is because the European slave-trade which was in the western Mediterranean Islamic nations shift to eastern Christian and Muslim states, from about 1100 A.D to 1500 A.D.. Slavic and Baltic slaves along with Georgians Turks and other ethnic groups of the Black Sea and Caucasus to Muslim nations of the so-called Middle East. This practice slowed down as the Slavic and Baltic ethnic groups became Christians in the late Middle Ages.
     For about four hundred years, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were sold into slavery to the Turks, in 1575 the Tatars captured 35,000 Ukrainians and in in 1676 they captured another 40,000, and then in 1688,  60,000 were captured and sold into slavery. In Romania, the Roma people were enslaved for over five centuries until abolition came in 1864. In France, after the cancellation of the Edict of Nantes ( issued in 1598 to end the religious wars during the 2nd half of the 16th century) in 1685 the French crown fill its galleys (ships) with Huguenots ( a religious group of Protestants in the 16th and 17th century France), galley-slaves who lived and worked in such harsh conditions that many did not survive their sentence. European naval forces often turned "infidel", prisoners- of-war into galley slaves.
     I say all this to show that slavery was and still is the oppressors tool and at the beginning had nothing to do with race, but something to do with uncivilized human behavior by Barbarians who collectively did not recognize the rights of others. In fact slavery is today more so of the mind, some of us are still a slave to illusions to what is real, to truth, but that's another story. "kuishi kwa muda mrefu na kukua." (swahili)

HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS

     As a individual I know why we have allowed societies to categorize man, so it, the society  can better understand itself, and because of its own ignorance, society has made race a reality solely base on pigmentation which they believe or only see as a one layer phenomenon. But in truth, their classification of race is not only primitive but  unnatural, and unacceptable because peoples life experiences are never included like customs, history and metaphysics. From the time European recorded stories (his-story) of the Africans, their existence have been determined by people other then Africans, which was done in order to rob us of our share of the wealth that was to be shared by HUMANITY. You see, the African is a contradiction to European historians, so like the Native Americans, the Asian Indian, and the so-called Australian aborigine. I suppose from the perspective of the European ideology the color of a humans skin became and still to this day a tool of oppression that is used to dominate a group and themselves, "by any means necessary". 
     The Western world has always seen us, the Africans, or the people of color as the 'THIRD WORLD" with a third world mentality, to them we are commoners to exploit and ignore which has never been difficult for them. You see, third world was never a place, only a state of mind, and to the most illiterate European it is a implication of  white superiority, an derogatory term. Mao Zedong defined "third world" as exploited people, former colonies. The perception of  third world people have been nullified in European indoctrination, we are an image in the third person, nonchalant, until we get in the way of their goals.
    Personally this is where I believe that W.E.B. Du Bois conceive the term, "DOUBLE CONSCIOUSNESS" meaning the subjective challenge of integrating an African heritage with a European education (indoctrination) the sense of always looking at one's self through the eyes of others, of measuring one's life by the view of a society that looks on in amused contempt and pity. Do you not feel your two-ness? (It is not that we have to be twice as good as them, we have to get them pass the Afrocentrism that we represent.) We are Westerner, we are African, we have two lives, two thoughts, two integrating struggles, two warring ideals in this dark body, whose dogged strength alone keeps it from being torn apart.  This is the history of the last millennium of the African, the history of his animosity, to be without being demonize. European thought is about only one consciousness, class consciousness, that is they do get confused in terms as where they belong, so some feel inadequate because they don't have what "the Jones" have, and that where race becomes the primary.
      In my opinion, Mr. Du Bois's intentions was to give us Africans a understanding of the flow of racism and by understanding the gestures we become efficient critics of racism, and culturally competent people, and with this experiences we become essential in the role to revolutionize this primitive social culture in which we live in. Mr. Du Bois was a social scientist of the highest degree, in which at his time there was no other equals, his vision was and is the future of all man, double, triple and quadruple consciousness. Because the future will require human being to be many things, and this is what the African continent and its people brings to the world, the ability to be many thing to many people.
     I believe that the shackles of racism is a ancient European tool of oppression that do not fit in the 21st century among the well inform (educated), who know something about culture, something about the real economics of our society, and the true structure of the political system that can no longer oppress and restrict it citizens solely based on the color of their skin. Understand that the most significant divider of people have always been religion and government, the exploitation of humanity, so it is the obligation of the government and so-called theologians of such societies to fix this mess.

EDUCATION VS INDOCTRINATION

     From my investigation of Western Culture (European doctrine that is),  my believe is that we continue to be misinformed directly or indirectly on the true story (HISTORY) of man. I don't believe for a minute that I am the emissary of absolute truths, but I honestly believe its time for a reality check to be paid. There are huge deficiencies in Black People outside of Africa who understands education and what it means. Education is not about finding a job, that indoctrination which is instilling a certain principle with specific point of view.  Education is essentially about communication of meaning and truth, it is not just official knowledge or selective and controlled knowledge and instruction. Public education in Western society historically emphasizes the influential part of societies prerogative, which is RACISM or as some well knowledgeable people call it, white supremacy. I recall as a young adult I read about Malcolm X and how he memorized the dictionary in prison, or how some jailhouse lawyer are better verse in criminal law than their three year law graduate counterparts are, and remember Ferdinand Waldo Demara, "The Great Impostor", who disguised himself as a monk, a surgeon and a prison warden.
      COMMUNICATION OF MEANING & TRUTH.
     Western Culture's education institutions do not move fast enough to overcome the influence of past and present racial authority that continue to linger in Black minds, Black hearts, and Black habits. We are constantly being told stories that establish sensibility in young minds in ways that maintain white supremacy , because RACISM does not teach that the races of man is a influence of political ideologies, not scientific realities. By the time a person reaches what I would say at least puberty in Western culture, they are indoctrinated by pseudo-scientists (racist), who program these delicate young minds into accepting stories of people being better than one another base on pigmentation or geography. Who is explains to the average adolescent that race is really a human creation that has been nurtured and establish purely for the purpose of  controlling a group of people and restraint them? Like Frantz Fanon once said, "there are to many idiots on this earth", and it is continuously being proven by indoctrinating children with European or the Americas history instead of the HISTORY OF MAN.
      I am here to translate the way that Western culture continue to allow racism to selectively control the flow of knowledge and instructions that they what to strengthen and perpetuate. Why are we still fighting BROWN vs THE BOARD OF EDUCATION sixty years later? Because education in Western culture historically emphasize racist authority, and in order to disintegrate that we must identify it and dislodge it from the various building blocks from which it has been constructed.
     Segregation in Western culture has always been about, you can not know what I know (education), you can not live where I live (housing), you can not love who I love (miscegenation), all the dynamics of supremacy, you do as I say because I'm right and you are uneducated, plus I'm white and privilege. What is badly needed is for all of us to engage in the educational process that would help to mediate a transition to a different perspective a different way of being HUMAN. I really do not want future generations to have the perceptions of other racial and cultural groups that my generation had base on ignorance, fear of difference and being so misinform through my indoctrination institutions (educational  sites). Our future must be giving the proper knowledge to see the world in a clear and true light, so that they may understand the dynamics of past and present hypocrisies that have shaped the myths of  superiority and inferiority among the races of man.
     From my humble knowledge, my limited experiences, I know that individuals need to know spiritually, a more realistic view of human history and the truth about human events, but not at the college level because by then we're damages goods. The nature of young adolescence is to believe that they know it all, the truth is they know what we the authority show them.  And what we need to show them is that human history is vast and contain multitudes of humanity, and that it belongs to all of us, and each of us is responsible for what we do with its wealth.

RACISM VS HUMANITY

       I do believe with everything in my being that it is the obligation of all HUMANITY to engage in the annihilation of the primitive ignorance of RACISM. That is, judging  a person by the color of their skin which is nothing more then a organized hypothesis with a vanity explanation. This inability to see everyone as oneself, shows a lack of knowledge of self, and is that not want living should be about, self-preservation, to protect self from harm and destruction. Because in the 21st century the philosophy of Racism is harmful and destructive, it disrupt the positive strengths and traits in human behavior.
      A scientist of the 1600th century by the name of Paracelsus (Par-a-cel-sus), a well known revolutionary in the field of medicine who believe that observation of life is much more conclusive than knowledge filter with darkness(ignorant) and prejudice. He is also recognized as on of the first to indicate that some diseases are rooted in psychological illness (narcissism). What I'm trying saying is that if you review the history of racism, at its core, and then look at the world today you would see how out-of place and inappropriate it is in the 21st century. 
     But back to my admired acquaintance of Paracelsus, and one of his most famous quotes:
"He who knows nothing, loves nothing. He who can do nothing understands nothing. He who understands nothing is worthless. But he who understands also loves, notices, sees... The more knowledge is inherent in a thing, the greater the love... Anyone who imagines that all fruits ripen at the same time as the strawberries knows nothing about grapes." 
I present this quote to say that KNOWLEDGE and IMFORMATION 
is mandatory in the 21st century, we are no longer just a family, a tribe, a city, a country, a continent, we are a WORLD. We can only go forward by being reasonable, intelligent and harmonious, instead of the narcissistic mystify mindless survivalist of the past. 
     In the past, and by the past I mean hundreds or maybe thousands of years ago to present yesterday we all were and to some of us still today are Homo-sapiens, two-leg creature based solely in the survival mode. Racism perpetuate that type of existence, the division of humanity, the justification of exploitation, even the pseudo science of race, base on Eurocentric myths of  superior people.
      Today humanity is at the level that literature do not instruct us (fables), science does, nor are we guided by etiological tales (people explaining their origins and the origins of the world, and really, we are only amuse by folktales, which no longer guide or entertain us.
     
RACISM in today world can only be carefully preserved as a relic of ancient times where ignorance of organized comprehension (intelligence) prevailed. Where in order to survive we use our animal instincts of recognizing others who look like us, think like us, believe like us. Now with HUMANITY, there is a social intelligence, a typical person to person strength and fairness generally expanded to all of mankind, the philosophy that we are all the same. HUMANITY is the challenge in the 21st century, it is our reality which courageously will lead us to understanding,  consideration and unity.

The Royal Library of Alexandria "TORCHED"

     LIBRARIES, one of the greatest accomplishments of any institution, any society, any group or individual is always their collection of knowledge in material form. LIBRARIES, after air, water,  food, shelter and clothing,  come knowing or the thirst for knowledge, the acknowledgment from participation and fulfillment, that what separate man from other species, storing our knowledge in objective terms and pass it on. Scientists tell us it's genetic, in our  "DEOXYRIBONUCLEIC ACID" (DNA) and it's a representation of  humanities quest for survival, to live past our physical existence.
     The Royal Library of Alexandria was set on fire, some say in battle in 48 BC by Julius Caesar, some say by Theophilus, who was the patriarch of Alexandria from 385-412 and other blame Muslim Caliph Omar in 640 AD, who was quoted saying "the books either contradict the Koran, in which case they are blasphemy, or they will agree with it, so they are expendable". We all know Julius Caesar and the tyranny his own stories tell of him, and Theophilus who converted the Temple of Serapis (an Egyptian God) into a Christian Church around 391 AD. The temple was estimated to carry about fifteen percent of the libraries documents, which were destroyed.
       Before I go any further I will say the information about the great library dates before the common or christian era, "B.C.E". and by then the library was only a monument, not a living and growing institution. Arguably our knowledge of the library come from two men, one Galen of Pergamon, (Pergamon is the ancient name of today's Bergama, Turkey) who writings in the latter half of the second century common era "C.E.". The other is John Tzetzes a Byzantine ( The Byzantine empire is the successor of the Roman empire in the Greek speaking eastern part of the Mediterranean) of the 12th century,  a poet and grammarian, who was known to be narcissistic and would violently attack fellow grammarians if they were not in agreement with him. He often was lacking in written material, so he committed himself to trusting his memory, therefore caution must be exercised in reading his work.
     Mr. Galen was a Greek physician, surgeon and philosopher in the Roman empire and a researcher of antiquity who was often corrupted by a imperial hostility toward the Hellenistic age, especially toward Egypt, the last to confront Rome's authority. On the other hand, Greek writers are poison by their longing for the literature and culture institutions of classical Greece, when their civilization reigned supreme. Therefore, as it is suppose to be understood to us, our western world began with Greece or Rome, but not Egypt because we burn that bridge or LIBRARY.
     Basil Davidson, an Africanist once quoted "Egyptology is the whiting of Egypt". Why would some what to whiten Egypt's story? Why would some want to separate Egypt from Africa, or Sudan or Ethiopia, or Nubia, and Carthage? Because of what, an inferiority complex? Maybe because what was expose to them was way beyond their imagination, and it was to much,like when the time come when extra-terrestrial beings present themselves on this planet? In the past history has always been told by the victor, it was his or her story, but in the 21st century of the common era that has changed, now the the whole story must be told.

IN THE BEGINNING "the african inquirer"

      It's "MAY DAY" and I have orchestrated the structural pattern of my blog that is set in motion today by me directing where The African Inquirer is headed. (Personally the May Day recognition means the fertilizing the human community) What I'm  trying to  accomplish is a five days a week topic on the dismantling of racism by informing the following on the historic facts of our so-called Western culture, our Western civilization, our Western lifestyle. How Western or European  legacy influences our social patterns, our ethnic and racial values, our acceptable customs, our belief systems and our political philosophy.
     My goal is to demonstrate and translate how these unequivocal artifacts and technologies that we think had their beginnings in Europe, is only 25% of what we, the Western civilization as we know it have been greatly influence, not only by European exploration, immigration, slavery and the conquest of the Americas, Africa, Asia. But what we don't know, or maybe we are just in denial is where did they, the Europeans receive their enlightenment from.
      A footnote, (Africa is refer to as "THE DARK CONTINENT" not because of the pigmentation of its inhabitants, but the lack of knowledge of its foreign explorers).
     The Western civilization has roughly 10,000 years of documented stories on the human race as we know it today, but only one-fourth of it is exploited in a way that only one-fourth is really important. WHY? That is like saying, I'm one hundred years old and the last twenty-five years of my life is what really matters. We are more than that, not just a news report or a bit on the front page, nor are we a new best seller, or a great music composition or movie. Who in the Western culture weave Flax into fabric, or who created the spoken alphabet, and where exactly was the Bronze Age.  I'm just saying without the first 7,500 years, there would not be the last 2,500 years. RECOGNIZE!
       Sure the Western culture's has a significance technological superiority on the planet, but that is where it end, because our social behavior is primitive. The African Inquirer will examine Western civilization hostile and unfriendly bias with ones who are different from ourselves, not only in appearance, but thoughts as well. There is thought to the idea that though capitalism we have invoked, "the seven deadly sins" and they have become our high power, our God, our Allah, our Jehovah.
    So I plan is to articulate and promote a fundamental connection between racism, lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride, and its origins do lie in the lack recognition of the whole "10,000.

RACISM (properly defined)

     All action, practice, or belief that reflects the racial personal view that people are divided into separate and exclusive biological and perpetual entities called races. Some believe wholeheartedly that there is a causal link between inherited  physical traits and traits of personality, intellect, morality and other cultural behavioral features, and that races are innately superior to others. By racism simplest definition, race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities, and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. People with racist beliefs resent certain groups of people according to their racial groups.
     The United Nations do not define racism, but it does define racial discrimination: according to the United Nation Convention on the Elimination of All  Forms of Racial Discrimination, "the term racial discrimination shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life."
     Some sociologists have defined racism as a highly organized system o f race based group privilege that operates at every level of society and is held together by a sophisticated ideology of color/race supremacy.
     Institutional racism, known as structural racism, state racism or systemic racism is racial discrimination by governments, corporations, educational institutions or other large organizations with the power to influence the lives of many individuals. Kwame Ture (Stokely Carmichael) is credited for coining the phrase "Institutional racism" in the 1960's. He defined the term as "the collective failure of an organization to provide an appropriate and professional service to people because of their colour, culture or ethnic origin."
     Social disparity is considered to be a form of racism which is caused b past racism and historical reasons, affecting the present generation through deficits in the formal education and kinds of preparation in the parents generation, and through primarily unconscious racist attitudes and actions on members of the general population

THE BIBLE

    This was greatest collection of literature assembled in the western world at the time, which consisted of sixty-six different books, composed by many different writers, in three different languages, under different circumstances. The writers were of almost every social rank, statesmen, peasants, kings, herdsmen, fishermen, priests, tax gathers, tentmakers, educated and uneducated, Jews and Gentiles. Most of them unknown to each other, and they wrote at various period in time that was spreaded out during the space of about 1600 years. The quality and style of the different translators varied considerably from book to book , from the literal to paraphrasing to interpretative. According to some assessments "The Pentateuch", (the first five books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) were reasonably translated, but the rest of the books, especially the poetical books were very poorly done and even contain sheer absurdities. By the fifth century the entire collection of Sacred Books which were named "THE LIBRARY OF DIVINE REVELATION".  Now by the 1400 century the name Bible was adopted by John Wickliffe, a English scholastic philosopher, translator, reformer, who was a teacher at Oxford.
     The collection of sacred writing containing the Old Testament and the New Testament, which the Roman Catholic Church calls "The Apocrypha" is the name given to fourteen ancient books, not considered canonical which found a place the "Septuagint" and "Latin Vulgate" versions of the Old Testament. These books was attached to all the great translations made from them in the 16th century, but which have no claim to be regarded as any sense parts of the inspired Word.
     Now another thing, the word "canonical" come from the noun "canon"; a complete body of authentic works by an author, which to me says the Apocrypha is corrupt Catholic doctrine of the Word which is the part of Christianity we in the western culture have been indoctrinate with, which was established by Jesus Christ, which Catholic doctrine say authorize Apostle Peter and his replacements, the Popes, to chronologically head his church. The Protestants are Christians who are not followers of this belief, nor are the Anglican or Eastern Church. Protestantism started during Renaissance as a protest against the Roman Catholic Church, led by Martin Luther who called for Reformation to reform the Catholic Church and cleanse the church of corruption. The Protestants hold a great variety of beliefs, but they are together in rejecting the authority of the pope.

THE DOCTRINE OF INEQUALITY

     This doctrine of inequality is entirely an invalid technique of Europeans concoction; for nature has constituted neither classes, nor orders, or families, nor kinds, nor permanent species, but only individuals. By that I mean the Creator, first created an individual, not female or male, African, European or Asian. Then Man created this so-called order we call the human race. My responsibility as of now is to show how race can no longer be an effective assignment order in the political terms in which we continually engaged in. Our world can no longer equate noticeable differences with serious physical actuality. We must not scrutinize race as a difference of mentality, but as a difference of information.
     First of all I am a person of African descendant, born on the North American continent, and have lived with this vulgar and misinform doctrine of racial inequality every since I can remember. I think of myself as a specialist, an expert, (which I sure most people of color living outside of their ancestral homeland are) on this belief system of the established racial opinion, which by the way is base on a science of European amateurism. By that I mean the original history of race or the ideology of racism which was not written from a disciple of the Sciences, because it contradicts all facts that was not authenticated by scientific research. The base of this ideology would also characterizes which horse is faster, the white one, the black one, or the pinto. Unfortunately, over the centuries, I would say over the millenniums this foundation of knowledge of race was based on an narcissism self-deluded and pseudo-science of European colonialism, slavery, economic, and religious dogma, which aristocratically evolved into a cultivation of inequality among humankind.
     It  was the Europeans who basically  invent this negative differences of race based on the language they thought they understood in the Bible, and interpreted not the language in which it was written. You see, European culture celebrates race as a primary influence of human traits and human  capacities in order to produce an inherent superiority or inherent inferiority of a particular race. Now  the Scientific culture celebrates the fact that we are the same, and they have carve out categories in order to classify people so that they, the scientists can  better understood the race of man scientifically, which is a true systematically arrangement and shows the operation of indiscriminating laws.
     This blog, The African Inquirer's blog in the beginning will concentrating on the version of the interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, how they were translated and how its comprehension was meant to be understood. Understanding, the Scriptures, they were not written to instruct man in the knowledge of the Sciences, and a society  believes are based on self-interest which means his story (history) is often far more self-contained and important to them, than what it really meant to be. That is, race and its ideology was created in order to maintain a cultivation that is base on a stereotypical examination, an over-the top speculation that they themselves, the Europeans are the distinguish human on the planet.

RACISM "DISMANTLE"

     Hello, I'm Antoine, a Pedagogue, a teacher of thoughts and ideas, a vassal of reality, which to me is profound and exciting, but to some perhaps may be a disturbing perception. I'm writing this blog because by nature I like reading about what I think about things, about people, and places. I appreciate my story (history), and in reverse I understand the story of others which may be different but just as significant. I love reading about people, where they come from, how they got to where their at, what they believe and why and what they think about yesterday, today and tomorrow. I'm an explorer of ideas and now I have this thought of opening a lasting and real examination of one of my transcendent interpretation. "RACISM". 
      My goal for this blog is to dissect this mystery and explore its consequences by scrutinizing race ignorance, with race reality.The African Inquirer, which is me, will publicly attempt to place racism in its theological, historical and cultural viewpoint.
     This blog is here to answer and to question the individual, how we have allowed own societies to categorizes human beings so it , the society, can transcend itself solely based on the pigmentation of  that individual. The African Inquirer will investigate racism, the institution that have devoted itself to the promotion of a particular structural pattern of  behavior that is accepted as fundamentally part of the human accomplishment
     My intentions is to  relay facts and truth as oppose to what is not, to point out solutions to problems by statistically discussions and encouraging thoughts toward reason and clarification of proposed findings. My "prime directive is to educate, not to indoctrinate, to communicate, not to intimidate, real knowledge with information, not to instruct a body of principles, but to clear stories up which was determine true and still being determine true about race.
